Jordan Rainer Bio

Jordan Rainer is an outlaw storyteller, a Telecaster-slinging force of nature, and a cultural disruptor in modern country music.

A finalist on The Voice under Reba McEntire, Rainer has spent years building her career the hard way: independently, relentlessly, and without waiting for permission from the Nashville machine. Long before industry gatekeepers knew what to do with her, she was packing bars, building an intensely loyal audience online, and carving out a lane that felt too country for pop, too rock for mainstream country, and too unapologetically authentic to fit neatly into either.

Rainer’s path to country music came through rebellion, survival, and sheer grit. After periods of instability, dead-end jobs, and starting over from scratch in Nashville, she slowly built a name for herself as one of the most electric independent performers in her lane. Known for fiery live guitar work, razor-sharp songwriting, and a stage presence that feels equal parts southern rock revival and modern outlaw movement, she is most definitely a rising act to watch.

But what truly separates Jordan Rainer is the emotional depth underneath the swagger.

Her music and storytelling explore longing, freedom, identity, humor, heartbreak, desire, resilience, and the cost of becoming fully yourself in a world that profits from conformity. As an openly queer woman in country music, Rainer is part of a growing generation refusing to shrink, sanitize, or code-switch who they are to fit the expectations of the genre. Rather than treating queer identity as spectacle, she folds it naturally into the same universal themes country music has always been built on: love, ache, rebellion, belonging, and truth.

Blending outlaw country, southern grit, rock-and-roll edge, and cinematic vulnerability, Jordan Rainer represents a new era of country artist: fiercely independent, deeply human, funny as hell, emotionally raw, and impossible to box in.

With 4 top 10 hits on Texas country radio and a Female Artist Of The Year award to her name, her music has infiltrated not only the red dirt scene but Netflix movies, hit TV shows, national commercials, and has been highly praised by legendary acts such as Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Craig Morgan, Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan, John Legend, Wynonna Judd and more.

Jordan Rainer isn’t a fleeting moment.

She’s a catching movement.

My Mission as an Artist:

I am a woman who could not stay in the box. Could not fit in the mold any more. Molds need to be broken. Rules need to be torched. A new era is begging to begin, and I fully intend to be at the front of the march.

I want to create a space in country music for people who were told they didn’t belong there. Normalizing queer visibility in country music without turning it into a gimmick...that is the goal. I want to sing about the things that are authentic to me, the things that move me and speak to me, without editing myself.

Me and my band are making country music feel dangerous, emotional, and alive again. I am intentionally and strategically building a home for fans who love country music but never felt represented by it.
